1. Organizer
Participation in the competition run by spots2skate, represented by Michael Späth, hereinafter referred to as the operator or organizer, is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these conditions of participation
2. Authorized participants
Natural persons who are resident in Germany, Austria or Switzerland are eligible to participate. Participation is not restricted to customers of the organizer and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.
If a participant has limited legal capacity, the consent of their legal representative is required.
All persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition and employees of the operator as well as their family members are not eligible to participate in the competition. In addition, the operator reserves the right, at its own discretion, to exclude persons from participation if there are justified reasons, for example
(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or implementation of the competition, (b) in the event of breaches of these conditions of participation, (c) in the event of unfair conduct or (d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the competition.
3. Participation
To take part in the competition, you must complete and submit the entry form shown. Participation is only possible within the participation period. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered in the draw.
There are two ways to enter. Firstly, participation in the Best Clip Contest, in which the entries will be judged. All you have to do is upload your clip with a trick or a line to another platform and submit it. The spot has to contain photos, where the obstacles from the clip are visible.
On the other hand, participation via the creation of spots, whereby the winner is drawn at random from all participants. The spots have to be created with real pictures.
Each participant can take part several times by submitting different clips or creating several spots.
The spots created must actually exist and may also be added worldwide. The rights to the images required for participation must be owned by the participant and comply with the terms of use.
Participation in the competition is free of charge.
4. Procedure of the competition
The duration of the competition is from 11.10.2024, 12:00 to 25.10.2024, 23:59. During this period, users will have the opportunity to take part in the competition online. The winners will be notified on 01.11. as described in point 4.
5. Winning, notification and transfer of the prize
Each winner will receive one of 4 individual surprise packages from TITUS. These include skateboard decks, T-shirts, skateboard wheels, hardware and more. However, each package is different and not every winner will receive all the products mentioned.
The winners will be determined after the closing date. The best clips will be judged by an internal jury and the 3 best entries will receive a prize.
A random draw will be held among all participants who have created commercials. If the competition is linked to a task, only those participants who have completed the task correctly will be entered into the prize draw.
The winners of the prize draw will be informed of their prize on November 1st via a separate email.
The prize will only be handed over to the winner or to the legal representative of the underage winner. It is not possible to exchange, collect or pay out the prize in cash.
Any costs incurred for shipping the prize will be borne by the operator. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize.
If the winner does not respond after two requests within a period of 3 weeks, the prize may be transferred to another participant.
6. Termination of the competition
The organizer expressly reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the competition from running as planned.
7. Storage of entries
Entries will be stored until all winners have been determined and the prizes have been sent out. After that, all entries will be deleted from our servers.
Data protection
Personal data must be provided in order to take part in the competition. The participant assures that the personal details provided by him/her, in particular first name, surname and email address, are true and correct.
The organizer points out that all personal data of the participant will not be passed on to third parties or made available to them for use without consent.
In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of his/her clip in the advertising media used by the organizer. This includes the announcement of the winner on the operator's website and its social media platforms.
The participant can revoke their declared consent at any time. The revocation must be sent in writing to the contact details of the organizer given in the imprint area of the competition app. Once consent has been withdrawn, the participant's personal data that has been collected and stored will be deleted immediately.

Applicable law

The operator's competition is subject exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.
Severability clause
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Participation. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that comes as close as possible to the economic meaning and purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of a loophole in these conditions of participation.
